Self Exclusion

Scope and Purpose

Okk.bet offers Time-Out and Self-Exclusion mechanisms to assist players in managing their gambling activity. This Self-Exclusion Policy governs the activation, scope, duration, and effects of Time-Out and Self-Exclusion across all products operated by Okk.bet.

Time-Out (Temporary Break)

  • Initiation: A Time-Out may be requested by the player in the Time-Out section of the Account Profile. The available periods are displayed therein.
  • Effect: During the Time-Out, the player may not deposit, withdraw, or engage in any gambling activity across all products provided by Okk.bet.
  • Revocation: A Time-Out may be revoked only after a minimum of 24 hours from the initial Time-Out request.
  • Reactivation: Upon reaching the end of the selected Time-Out period, the player’s account will resume normal activity automatically, subject to any other applicable limits or restrictions.

Self-Exclusion (Extended Break)

  • Initiation by written request: If a longer cessation is sought, the player may request Self-Exclusion by sending a written request via electronic mail to the Customer Support team. The request must specify the duration or indicate permanent exclusion.
  • Cooling-off period: Upon receipt of the Self-Exclusion request, a 24-hour cooling-off period commences. During this period, the player’s account is disabled and no gambling activity is permitted.
  • Post-cooling periods: After the cooling-off period, the player will be advised of the available Self-Exclusion durations. Only pre-selected periods will be offered; requests for variation will not be accommodated.
  • Confirmation and processing: To proceed, the player must provide a reply by electronic mail within 24 hours. If no such reply is received within the additional 24-hour window, the Self-Exclusion request will be deemed withdrawn and the account will be reopened and confirmed by electronic mail.
  • Effect of Self-Exclusion: While Self-Exclusion remains in effect, the player’s ability to deposit or withdraw funds is disabled for the duration of the exclusion. Upon expiry, the account will automatically be re-activated.
  • Promotional materials: During Self-Exclusion, the player will be excluded from promotional offers and related communications.
  • Linked accounts and shared devices: The Self-Exclusion may apply to accounts linked by household, shared devices, payment mechanisms, or common environments where devices are shared. Okk.bet will apply the exclusion to such linked accounts as appropriate.
  • Revocation of Self-Exclusion: A revocation request may be made only via written or electronic notice. The Company will consider such requests in its absolute discretion and may deny the request.
  • Compliance and enforcement: Okk.bet will take reasonable steps to ensure compliance with Self-Exclusion. Okk.bet shall not be liable for activity conducted via alternate registrations or where promotional materials are inadvertently forwarded to the player.
  • Guidance and support: Players experiencing gambling-related concerns are encouraged to seek professional support services in their jurisdiction. Okk.bet does not provide clinical advice.

Financial Protection and Self-Imposed Limits

In the Account settings, players may establish self-imposed limits on spending, losses, or session durations. If a limit is exceeded, further gambling activity related to that limit is blocked for the remaining period of the limit. Requests to revoke a limit or exclusion must be submitted in writing or by electronic notice. Okk.bet will consider such requests but reserves the right to refuse at its absolute discretion. Okk.bet undertakes reasonable efforts to ensure that Self-Exclusion and related protections are observed and will not deliver promotional material to excluded players. Okk.bet is not responsible for activity arising from alternate registrations or from registrants who alter registration details to circumvent the policy.

Data, Communications and Privacy

All Self-Exclusion data and communications are handled in accordance with Okk.bet’s Privacy Policy. Okk.bet will communicate relevant information to the player through the registered contact details or via the account messaging system, as applicable.

Scope and Compliance

This Self-Exclusion Policy applies to all gambling products offered by Okk.bet. It operates in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions, KYC policies, AML policies, and related dispute resolution procedures.
